🌐 Network Port Settings for UsVox Hosted PBX Devices

Created by the UsVox Support Team

To ensure the proper function of UsVox Hosted PBX services, your network must allow specific ports and protocols used by SIP devices. The instructions below will help you configure your firewall or router for reliable call quality and connectivity.

πŸ”§ Before You Begin: Disable SIP ALG

SIP ALG (Application Layer Gateway) is a common feature on many routers and firewalls, but it often interferes with VoIP services.

βœ… What to do:

  • Disable SIP ALG on your router or firewall before opening any ports.
  • If your device does not allow you to disable SIP ALG, we strongly recommend contacting your router/firewall vendor’s support team for help β€” they are trained to handle this.
