Upon installation, the softphone icon is conveniently accessible on the desktop. It is adept at handling both inbound and outbound calls, positioning it as an indispensable tool for remote work or hybrid teams.

Quick User Guide
Making a Call
Dial the number, then press the dial icon. After dialing the number or answering a call you will have access to different features like Mute, Hold, Transfer, Etc.

Blind Transfer by pressing the icon, dial the number and press complete transfer. |

Attendant Transfer during an active call transfer the call by pressing the icon and dial the number, after the call is answer announce the call and press complete transfer. |

Hold Place the call on hold by pressing the icon. |

Mute Press the Icon to mute/unmute the microphone.

Manually set Busy Lamp Indicator (BLF) / Phone Book
To show BLF list next of the dialer go to the 'Setting' icon then switch 'Operator Panel'

🎧 Operator Console (Reception View) — How to Activate and Display Extensions in Mobyx Desktop/Web
To activate the Operator Console view (previously called WebRTC), you need to follow these steps to display your PBX extensions inside the Mobyx Softphone interface.
📲 2. Create Your Extension Panel (Phone Book Management)
- Once logged in, press the “+” icon in the left or bottom menu
- Navigate to Phone Book Management
- You’ll see a list of available extensions

✅ 3. Select Extensions to Display
Select “ALL” to include all extensions
(Recommended for reception/attendant view)
You can also manually select only the extensions you want to see in your Operator Panel.

🔄 4. Log Out and Reopen the App
- Log out of the page and close the softphone
- When you reopen it, your extension panel will now be visible in Mobyx
ℹ️ Important Notes for Extension Visibility
- The Account Number and Extension Name shown in your PBX portal are the values used to populate your Operator Console
- You can manually rename these buttons within Mobyx if needed
- To change the names globally, request the update through your PBX Admin Interface
🟢 Status Management in Mobyx Desktop Softphone
🔁 Default Behavior
The system automatically sets your status based on your activity:
- 🔴 Busy — when you're on a call
- 📞 Ringing — when you're receiving a call
- ⚫ Offline — when the softphone is disconnected

✋ Manual Override
Even though Busy, Ringing, and Offline are automatic, you can manually set these statuses if needed. This is helpful when you want to manage your availability without closing the app.
🟡 Set Status Manually
The UsVox Mobyx Desktop Softphone allows users to manually control their availability by setting their status to:
- ✅ Available
- 🟡 Away
- 🔴 Busy
- 📞 Ringing
- ⚫ Offline
📌 Why Use Status Settings?
Setting your status helps you:
- 🧭 Manage your availability across multiple devices
- ☕ Prevent interruptions during breaks or meetings
- 👀 Improve visibility for team members in shared environments
Using the Phone Book
On the Phone Book page, you can maintain your own set of frequently dialed numbers, assign speed dial codes to them, and define a list of favorite numbers.
Note, that this page is only active if your provider has enabled the Phone Book feature for you. Depending on your needs, you may activate or deactivate the Phone Book by selecting or clearing the checkbox at the top.
Speed Dial: The Speed Dial option allows you to assign speed dial codes to numbers. Please contact your provider to inquire about the maximum abbreviated dial length.
Favorite Rating: If your provider makes the Favorite Rating service available, you have the option to mark which numbers will be charged according to a special rate. Ask your provider about the maximum amount of numbers that you can mark as favorite numbers and about the patterns to be used for favorite numbers.

🔄Resetting the Mobyx Desktop Softphone
If you're experiencing issues with the softphone or need to reconfigure it for a different extension, you can reset the Mobyx Desktop application by following these steps:
🧭 Step-by-Step Instructions:
1️⃣ Tap the Settings Icon at the Bottom of the App
Open the Mobyx Desktop application and tap the ⚙️ Settings icon located at the bottom of the interface.
2️⃣ Scroll to the Bottom and Select ‘Reset Application’
Once in the settings menu, scroll all the way down and click on ‘Reset Application’.
3️⃣ Confirm the Reset
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm and complete the reset process.
